Luminous Turquoise

Turquoise is said to be the color of deep compassion and healing.  No wonder why so many of us are drawn to this color.  Not to mention the fact that it reminds us of the beautiful turquoise waters of the islands.

Turquoise expresses the protective and steadfast qualities of blue with the soothing effect of green.

A little turquoise can go a long way.  Here a beautiful turquoise chandelier is the focal point of this entranceway.

A turquoise kitchen?  Turquoise gives the concept of water but also brighter turquoise shades bring tropical warmth, as evidenced in this seaside kitchen.

This simple and colorful dining escape can easily be yours.  Casual and nostalgic rattan chairs resting on a bright turquoise and white rug.

Turquoise wall color brings us to the infinity of the ocean.  White trim, beautiful white sofas and lots of accent pillows.

Love the simplicity of this seaside bathroom.  Turquoise on the countertop and in the accessories remind us of sea glass washed upon the shore.

Your guests will be smiling before they even open the front door with this colorful entry.

An aquamarine powder room gives this small space the feel of the expanse of the ocean.

You can almost feel the ocean currents with the organically shaped tile shelving in just the right shade of Caribbean turquoise.

The blue of the ocean in the background against a simple turquoise table set for a quiet dinner with friends.

So many shades of turquoise to choose from . . . paler aqua tones to bright saturated turquoise, any of these tones will bring you right to the bright blue sea.
